By using the site, you accept these conditions of use.
The term "Genie centre-ville" refers to a promotional campaign between the parties "Genie" and "Destination Centre-ville" as part of a commercial revival project by proposing a fast, secure and personalized delivery system with a preferential rate on all orders made in downtown Montreal.

Who are the Personal Assistants?
Personal Assistants are independent couriers connected to the Genie platform and are here to help you to solve your needs in a fast and effective way.
Where does Genie deliver?
To benefit from the discount on delivery fees, you must order a product or service from downtown Montreal (blue area on the map) and get it delivered in the green area on the map. Beyond this area, Genie will assure delivery with an additional charge: a dollar for each extra kilometer traveled. In all cases, you will always be informed of the price and delivery time before confirming your request.
What are Genie's opening hours?
Genie is open 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
What types of vehicles do couriers use for deliveries? What is the maximum sizethat my orders can have?
The couriers use a bike, motorcycle, or car, and they can carry whatever you want as long as your object does not weigh more than 15 kg (equivalent to 3 to 4 shopping bags in volume) and that it fits in a 40 x 40 x 30 cm box. Additional charges may apply for larger orders.

How to place an order?
Nothing is easier than placing your first order with Genie. Just follow these
Steps:
(1) Go to the website or Facebook and Instagram page.
(2) Write all your desires on the chat
You then have 2 possibilities:
(A) Genie places an order on your behalf in a restaurant or downtown store, and then delivers it to you.
(B) Genie can also pick-up your order on your behalf and deliver it to you.
(3) Genie will then confirm your order and send you a quote.
(4) After you confirm the quote and pay online, Genie will proceed with the delivery.
If you want to specify more than one delivery address, you will need to notify Genie when you place your order
What can I order?
Genie can purchase anything you want from downtown Montreal. Genie goes to the pharmacy for you, it could buy your pair of shoes, deliver your meal, transport your packages! Everything that crosses your mind! Genie takes care of everything. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, Genie cannot carry for you products such as alcohol, tobacco, cannabis and all other similar products.
What are the delivery costs ?
The delivery costs for the Genie centre-ville campaign are at a fixed rate of $5 once the 50% discount is applied.
With Genie centre-ville you get a promotional code which grants a discount on delivery costs for all services or products purchased from shops in downtown Montreal.
Before placing your order you will always receive a quote informing you of the total costs of delivery. The quote will include all the information about the product or service you have ordered. Once you confirm the quote and pay online, Genie will proceed with the delivery.
Occasionally, the price of the product may differ from what was announced in the quote.
If the price difference is less than 30%, Genie will automatically proceed with the purchase on your behalf. You will see the new price as soon as the courier has posted the receipt of the purchase. However, if the price difference exceeds 30%, Genie will contact you to ask if you would like to proceed with the purchase.
Do I have to tip the personal assistants?
Genie’s personal assistants do not expect tips as they are adequately remunerated.
Do you take a percentage on each order?
No, Genie does not take a percentage on the products purchased on your behalf. Nevertheless, there is an additional Stripe payment processing cost of (2.9% + $ 0.30) on your bill when you choose to pay by credit card.
How to pre-order or change my pre-order?
Order planning has never been easier! You can program your order and choose the delivery time that suits you. If you wish to amend the information or cancel a pre-order, you must notify Genie as soon as possible.
Cancellation is not charged if the courier has not yet been assigned to your delivery.

Can I get a refund for a product purchased with Genie?
Genie connects your orders with couriers. They make purchases on your behalf. You are therefore considered as the buyer and end user of the products or services purchased. Any return or complaint concerning the product must be made directly to the merchant.
When will I receive my order?
You will be notified as soon as a Personal Assistant is assigned to your delivery. You can also track your order in real time. If delays are expected, you will receive a message from Genie informing you of an approximate arrival time. Deliveries are usually completed in a maximum of 4 hours.
Missing products or incorrect order. What to do?
If you have received an incomplete or incorrect order, you must notify Genie through the online platform as soon as possible. Genie will respond to your request to offer a solution.
The order did not arrive in good condition. What to do?
If your order arrived in poor condition, you must notify Genie through the online platform as soon as possible. Genie will respond to your request to offer a solution.
I want to cancel my order. Is the cancellation billed?
If you choose to cancel your order, cancellation fees may apply.
For food orders, the amount will be billed to you based on following criteria.
(1) If the store had already accepted your order and started to prepare it, the price of the order will be charged..
(2) If a courier had already been assigned to your order, you must pay a cancellation fee. This information will be disclosed to you by Genie.
(3) If the store had already accepted your order and started to prepare it, and a courier had already been assigned to deliver it, the price of the products and the cancellation fees will be charged.
(4) If the courier reaches the delivery area and delivers the order, the price of the products and the costs of delivery will be charged.
Keep in mind that food orders cannot be returned.
For non-food orders, you can cancel an order free of charge as long as the courier has not been dispatched. However, if you choose to cancel the order after the courier has been assigned to it, the total amount of basic delivery service will be charged.
